Mathematics Computation Programme

Often students’ learning in mathematics is hampered by their aptitude, or rather, insufficient aptitude in computation skills. If this is the case, students’ speed in solving maths problem will be affected which will then have an impact on their scores in the subject . As a case in point, students who rely on counting on their fingers to do maths sums at an early age will encounter difficulty learning multiplication and division in primary schools. The Mathematics Computation Programme is designed to help students master the fundamental of mathematics, which is the computation skill that is often related to the ability in mental maths calculation.

The Mathematics Computation Programme is designed to enhance the accuracy and speed of computation for students. Given time, students enrolled in this programme will reap the following benefits: 1. improvement in concentration, 2. improvement of accuracy in calculation, and 3. improvement in mental calculation capability. Through step by step guidance and examples, the programme walks students through from  easy drills to difficult ones and each unit includes challenges that require deeper understanding of mathematics principles.

The current programme covers students from kindergarten level to F3 (i.e. K-9)
